I don’t know about you but I am always in a rush in the mornings especially during school term. Breakfast jars are a great way to prepare your breakfast the night before. I used old meridian nut butter jars (170g) as this size is just perfect because these are so filling. Everyone has different tastes but the beauty of these is I can suggest a few flavours but you can use the base recipe and add your own twist and ingredients. You can also take these into work as your mid morning snack and add natural yoghurt instead of milk too. I have mixed both oats and quinoa but if you are intolerant to oats then just use all quinoa for more protein keeping you fuller for longer and bags of energy to get you through the day. The vegan protein powder is a nice element for extra protein and also it is sweeten with stevia so makes it extra yummy but you don’t have to add it in. NB: this needs to be prepared the night before consumption.
