Christmas is coming and that means temptation and indulgence. My rule of thumb is not to deprive myself but to try and stay as healthy as possible throughout with the odd we treat here and there. The key is making things yourself to be in control of the ingredients, namely sugars. Granola is one of those foods that people think is healthy but when you strip it down it contains gluten oats which causes bloating and excess inflammation in the body and high sugar (usually 20-25g per 100g). This one is completely grain free so is high in protein and because the nuts are soaked then they will not irritate the tummy as much.
