Slow Cooker Turkey and Quinoa Risotto (Gluten. Yeast, Dairy FREE)

Quinoa is my biggest weight loss tool so I am always experimenting with it as I was not a fan at the start! It has grown on me but mainly because I found the flakes much nicer than the traditional quinoa balls. Try and replace potato, rice, porridge, pasta all with quinoa and watch the pounds drop off. Quinoa is actually a seed but is known as a grain and is really high in protein so will keep you fuller for longer and is full of so many vitamins and minerals. I cooked this in the slow cooker on a low heat for 8 hours so it was ready for me after work but you could make it on a pan also.
