The energies for August 2026
August is my favourite month of the year because it’s my birthday month and every year since I have had this business I have done something for Lions Gate. Even before I really understood the magnitude of this energy and this year feels like the most powerful yet. I have such a connection to the number 8 hence I have the infinity symbol tattooed on my foot! I was born on the 17th August, the 8th month and this year 2026 I am in my 8th year so I could really feel the pull to channel something special here and I feel I have achieved that. It’s a balance of being super gentle and healing but also activating and powerful and of course it is not for everyone so if you feel called then it’s for you. Last year Lions Gate was all about the inner work or inward expression with it being a number 9 year surrounding Mercury Retrograde but this year it’s more outwardly expressive & dynamic due to the other energies surrounding. Namely, Jupiter (planet of luck and expansion) in Leo opening a portal for you to create your highest souls purpose and the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Leo on the 12th August providing that identity transformation to help you be more visible and authentic.
The other important energy to note here is the North and South Nodes in Astrology. They change every 18 months and at the end of July the north node moved into Aquarius and the south node into Leo. This is important for you individually but also collectively. Aquarius is all about working together and community (hence why I have created a new collaboration business with two other high vibrational souls called Authentic Self Retreats) and the shadow side of Leo is about the self and ego and the south node is what we are moving away from with the north what we are moving towards. Therefore for the next 2 years we will see such a shift from individuality to community, from ego to collective purpose and from the need for personal recognitions to the greater good of all. The last time these nodes where in these placements was 2007-2009 so connect back to what was happening for you then as it might feel similar.
Eclipse season ushers in massive change and transition so expect things to change. As humans we resist this but trust in your higher soul self to guide the way and know what is best for you even if you don’t. We can be inclined to hold onto what is familiar and that older version of ourselves but these energies are propelling you forward towards your dreams and desires.
Every 6 weeks we experience a new turning of the wheel, hence a new energy comes in and on the 1st August it is called Lughnasadh. This is known as the 1st of three harvests and its very significant as harvests are about abundance and receive and the sun god Lugh is sending many light codes during this time for you alongside the other energies which is why many people are feeling so exhausted and have physical and emotional pain as our bodies are changing literally to be more of the light as Earth changes and evolves so must we. This activation is healing to help with the integration these energies at this time.
Lastly, but most importantly Lions Gate. This is a portal of ALIGNMENT between the Earth, then Sun in Leo, the star Sirius & Orions Belt (a group of 3 bright blue stars known as the Celestial Hunter). Lions Gate energies will bring in light codes of heightened awareness, personal empowerment and creativity to allow you to alignment to your higher purpose. The gateway opens on the 29th July and peaks on the 8th August and closes the 12th of August just as the doorway for the total Solar Eclipse New Moon in Leo opens to help us step into the new with courage, confidence and leadership. What is a Portal?
It’s important to understand that a portal is an energetic doorway or gateway to an expanded state of consciousness that opens up for a period of time to allow you to connect with that higher timeline that you have called in. This doorway or gateway creates a powerful vibrational frequency opening opportunity for heightened spiritual awareness. See it like an opportunity to ride the wave assisting you in manifesting your dreams, desires & intentions. We are one soul that has many fragmented parts due to many different lifetimes and these hold hidden or dormant gifts that will be returned to you during these portals when you are ready and if you claim them. My activations prepare your body to release the old versions of you that may be holding you back from receiving and guide you forward ie activating you towards your higher soul self to receive the answers. I simply hold the space. Remember also that this a number 1 year so we are very much preparing the way and the foundations for expansion in 2027, a no. 2 year hence why partnerships may be highlighted if not in alignment with soul.
Lions Gate 8/8 Portal Energies
The Lions Gate Portal invites you to look at where you are dimming your light and where you are being called to step more fully into your purpose, So if you have been asking what this is, whether you are in a job, have created a business or similar have an idea for a new version of you then this activation is for you. This year Lions Gate is about stepping into your sovereignty (your light) as a Creator & a Creatrix with in your masculine and feminine as that is the only way. This portal is all about connecting with your unique gifts and how they contribute to the collective which is essentially your true authentic self. Ask yourself “What parts of yourself are you ready to stop hiding from and where are you dimming to fit in?” Leo energy is ruled by the sun and highlights your desire to shine and become more visible to the world and now is the time whether you feel ready for it or not you know and this activation will help you.
Our main guide in this activation is called Lyra; she is a beautiful blend of Sekhmet and Lyran energy. Sekhmet is a lion headed goddess of war, healing and fierce protection and as you step forward in the world you need to understand protection. Both feminine and masculine energy; flow and force, intuition and logic, creation and action. Lions are dual in nature both heart centred and ferocious. The Lyrans were a race of beautiful feline beings much like the ones depicted in the movie Avatar that descended from cats as they are very protective but also extremely intuitive.
The star Sirius is the brightest star visible in the nights sky and thus is here to help you shine and illuminate but also to help you with renewal and recharging. Expect accelerated wisdom, spiritual growth, spiritual downloads, intuitive visions and energetic shifts.
The no 8 is connected to strength (strength card in the tarot), balance, abundance and power with the Leo energy being all about the heart, authenticity, creation, self actualisation seld expression, leadership and creative power.
What does the Lions Gate 8/8 Portal Activation entail?
If you have done any of my activations before you will be familiar with the energy and understand how important it is to repeat many times throughout the month. Our bodies are very dense and as we ascend more towards our light body ie soul self then we must purge so we will experience detox symptoms. This is why you rest to integrate, you drink plenty of water to flush so that you can be a clear channel to create and manifest ie be that vibrational match to what you are wanting to create especially with this one as the Pleiades literally hold the creation codes.
